Sue Lee
Originally hailing from Staffordshire, Sue graduated with a first in 1994 from De Montfort University where she studied BA Arts & Humanities, Comb Hons: fine art, history of art and design, media studies. She spent a sabbatical year as the VP Comms, editing and producing the student union magazine, where her interest in print design began. She headed to Penang, Malaysia, where she taught art and design for a year and a half before moving to London to start work as a graphic designer.
After many years working as a freelance designer in various London agencies, Sue has found herself increasingly drawn towards illustration and her love of all things retro can be seen in the greetings cards she has designed and published since 2010 as Pennychoo.
