February Half Term – Art & Design for Young People 13-17 Years

An enjoyable and challenging course designed to build on existing skills to create a varied body of work useful for GCSE and A level course work or for a dynamic foundation portfolio.

What The Course is About:

An enjoyable and challenging 3 day course designed to build on existing skills to create a varied body of work useful for GCSE and A level course work or for a dynamic foundation portfolio. The course aims to explore drawing and printmaking media to explore line, tone and structure then introducing further mark making techniques.

Materials Required:

What to bring to the first session: Separate materials will be needed for the rest of the week but paper and further items can be purchased from the school shop. Wear old clothes/bring an apron/disposable gloves if desired – inks will stain. Cartridge paper, available from the school shop. Selection of sketching pencils, old biro, black marker pen Glue stick/scissors Masking tape NOTE: Printing inks will be provided.
