Expressive Drawing & Painting: Flora & Natural Forms 3D Campus

This is a studio-based 12-week course based at the 3D campus, exploring expressive painting and drawing techniques to create a vibrant and impactful series of works in response to flowers and other plant forms.

What The Course is About:

Working from both observational and experimental approaches, you will explore line, tone, texture, colour and a range of techniques to enable you to create a series of expressive paintings and drawings inspired by flowers and other natural plant forms. Working from still life and from photographs, you will work with water-based paints (watercolour or gouache), ink charcoal, pastels and other materials to create vibrant and impactful works inspired by techniques of contemporary and historical artists. Your tutor will demonstrate throughout. This is a studio-based 12-week course.
