Students will be offered one-to-one tutorials and mentoring, with tailored advice on materials, techniques and professional practice if desired. This studio session is suitable for students working in most media, including painting and drawing, art textiles, mixed media, printing with the small press, as well as 3D and sculpture. Each term there will be demonstrations of materials and techniques to try and illustrated talks on contemporary and historical themes and artists, tailored to suit the needs and interests of the group. Themes and projects are offered to students who would like this, as well a chance to develop work in a studio group.
