Summer School – 2 Days: Watercolour & Experimental Techniques

This course is designed for beginners with little or no experience with the delicate medium of watercolour or those with some experience wanting to explore its potential further.

What The Course is About:

This course is designed for beginners with little or no experience with the delicate medium of watercolour or those with some experience wanting to explore it's potential further. We will work and develop your skills and a focus on understanding of the experimental medium of watercolour. We will explore traditional methods of mixing colour and students will also be encouraged to play and develop their own take on the age-old method.

Materials Required:

Pencil [HB or 2B], eraser, Watercolour paints [pans or tubes], Watercolour palette for mixing paints, Watercolour brushes [synthetic rounds – No 8, No 16] Watercolour pad [A3 Cold-pressed NOT] or alternatively you can buy sheets of watercolour paper from the shop at PSAD, Plastic pot for water.

End of course:

The aim of the course is to help you develop your skill as a watercolour painter and also improve your drawing skills.
