This painting class will guide you through the steps of painting your pet, whether it is your furry companion or a more exotic addition to the family including birds or reptiles.

What The Course is About:

This painting class will guide you through the steps of drawing and/or painting your pet, whether it is your furry companion or a more exotic addition to the family including birds or reptiles. You will work from photographs in this fun and enjoyable class with like-minded animal lovers. You will explore ways to capture the unique personality of your special companion through sketching techniques and various mediums. No experience is needed to enjoy this relaxing class - it's a perfect opportunity for beginners and experienced artists who wants to meet fellow pet owners!

Materials Required:

What to bring to the first session: Bring to the first class any drawing and water- based painting materials you possess. Coloured pencils or soft pastels can also be used. Paper and further items can be purchased from the school shop. You will also need at least one printed photograph of your pet, preferably in colour.

Previous Experience:

All Levels - Beginners to painting are welcome, but some drawing experience will help you to get more from this course.

End of course:

What will I achieve? You will learn to use a range of techniques to capture and express the personality of your pet. By the end of the course you will have a unique bespoke portrait of your pet.
