Evening Courses
New to 2023! Putney School of Art and Design are excited to present evening classes. Our evening classes are pay as you go which allows even more flexibility with our creative sessions, offering a one off session for those who want to try a class before fully committing. We currently have our Summer School evening offers available to try out now.
Tuesday 18 – Wednesday 19 July
This is a perfect way to begin your painting with oils journey with our beginner class. Over two evenings you will learn from an experienced painter which will give the core skills and techniques to begin your own paintings.
Tuesday 18 – Wednesday 19 July
Whether you’re new to painting or exploring new methods in your practice, this class is for you. The course begins with a review of colour theory as it relates to layering, mixing and glazing paint. Give it a try today on this two day course!
Tuesday 18 – Wednesday 19 July
An exciting introductory drawing and painting course, you will explore different approaches, methods and materials. This course is perfect if you are brand new to the art form and would like to sample one of the classics from the art world!
Wednesday 19 July
Open Studio sessions are available to those who already have some experience of etching techniques and are interested in developing their own projects. This is an opportunity to work independently and develop your work. Tutor input and support is available throughout if needed.

This is a practical course, which will be tailored to the individual student capabilities. Open studio sessions are available to those that already have experience working with clay and are interested in working on their own projects.
