Catherine teaches Creative Printmaking at Putney School of Art encompassing pioneering approaches to Lino and Monotype as well as Traditional Etching, and Watercolour.
Catherine leads Art walks in the Sussex Weald and Cuckmere Valley, bringing people directly into contact with nature through the experience of drawing and painting.
In her own artwork she explores the connection between light, land and sky through the creation of atmospheric etchings and monotypes from watercolours and drawings made in the South Downs landscape. Alongside this she has collaborated with musicians and has created a series of work which fuses sound and print ‘Wavescape’. Catherine’s BA hons. Degree was in Painting & Printmaking, she studied an MA in Maine USA in late 90’s and has established her own Green Print Studio in Sussex.
