Sarah Sparkes is a London based artist and curator, exhibiting in the UK and internationally. She shows with New Art Projects London. Her work ‘The GHost Formula’, commissioned by FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), toured to NTMoFA (National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts) as part of the exhibition ‘No Such Thing As Gravity’ curated by Rob La Frenais. Her film ‘Time You Need’, recipient of the MERU ART*SCIENCE award, has entered the collections of GAMeC (Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo). She curates the visual arts and creative research project GHost and has curated and co-curated many independent exhibitions.
Sarah Sparkes holds an MA and BA from Chelsea College of Art and Design and Kingston University respectively and was a Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Advanced Studies UOL.
In addition to teaching experimental media as well as range of drawing painting and mixed media courses for PSAD, she is an Associate Lecturer at UAL and has been visiting lecturer and educator for numerous institutions including the Tate Gallery.
