Simon Burder
Simon is a printmaker working primarily in lithography. He studied at Exeter College of Art and was then awarded a French Government Scholarship allowing him to study lithography at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
He teaches lithography at Putney School of Art.
His works aims to convey his affinity for the landscape seeing it as a rich source of metaphors for life’s experiences. He regards working on lithographic stone, itself a product of nature, as a further way of engaging with his subject matter.
